Community Partners

Training and consulting are of two of the core services the Support Center offers. Our community partners serve as volunteer trainers and consultants, providing critical leadership, guidance and expertise to nonprofits in areas such as:

board development
fund raising
project planning
strategic planning
diversity
human resource issues
media relations

... and much more. The Support Center’s community partners are some of Jackson’s finest individuals willing to share their expertise and work together to strengthen Jackson’s nonprofits. As one consultant recently stated, "By helping our fellow nonprofits better manage their organization and improve their service delivery, we all benefit. Our service population’s needs are better met and we learn how to work together. It makes all our jobs more efficient and effective."
